Weekend Warriors: Langebaan

Just over an hour’s drive from Cape Town makes it an ideal break away for the weekend. Ishare many nostalgic memories with friends of days spent at this friendly town on the West Coast. Many of these thoughts are a bit dazed and confused; and other thoughts are directed to the Skate park next to the Oostewal camping terrain. The skate park was our main reason for the Langebaan trips. Nothing beats the feeling of landing a trick on concrete and rolling away. The park at places is a bit awkwardly built, with a set of stairs going into a quarter pipe, but none the less it is many peoples favorite park to skate, including myself. Spending the day at the skate park, swimming in the lagoon after a session, beers at Oostewal camping terrain with friends; and the nights in Langebaan have always been pleasantly strange and unpredictable. This makes Langebaan a sick affordable trip. ▲
