This Week.

If you've found yourself wondering what to get up to this week, we're here to fill you in on what's happening in the Mother City. Get ready to soak in a shit load of creative stimuli. There's something for everyone.

24th July - 24th August
The Editions Show

You have a month to get to this one so there's no excuse. Check out this exhibition held by Salon 91 Contemporary Art Collection at 91 Kloof Street, Cape Town. Work being displayed by the likes of Gerhard Human, Neill Wright, Simon Berdnt, Otto du Plessis and more will be available for purchase. Don't forget to RSVP. Click here for the LINK.

31st July
The Truth Market

Hmmm, lovely vintage and 2nd hand threads for you dames and gents at The Truth Market. This event is going down at TRUTH. Coffecult so it's the perfect excuse to grab a lovely cuppa and work in a sneaky thrift to your week. Something about retail therapy. Check it out HERE.

31st July
aKing @ Aandklas

It's R50 at the door and there will be drink specials so if you're up for it, head through to Stellenbosch to check aKing live and delight in a little debauchery. They are only playing in Stellenbosch during their Winter tour so if you haven't seen them or you're missing them then this would be the show to attend. The last time I saw aKing live I was standing on a speaker in an overcrowded Aandklas and it was a great time. More here.

2nd August
The Assembly Presents: Goodnight Wembley, Ashtray Electric & Friends
Ashtray Electric has returned so there's no better way to kick off a radical weekend by heading off to Assembly. Super-band, Goodnight Wembley will be playing too amongst others so grab your mates and get down to Harrington Street. It's R30 before 10pm and R40 thereafter. Not bad. Wanna know more? Here.

3rd August
Psych Night: Spirit Medicine

It's Psych Night's first birthday so this is going to be big. I'm assuming there will be glitter so be prepared to be reminded of your notorious actions on Sunday (it's hard to get glitter off - showering is not recommended). The lineup includes the likes of Holiday Murray, The Very Wicked, Bilderberg Motel and more which you can find here. It's R40 before 10pm and R50 thereafter.

The poster for the event is a Simon Berdnt piece, so if you're feeling it, you should attend The Editions Show (above) to view more of his work.

Have a radical week.
